SuperMom

With each passing year, I find more and more reasons to truly believe that I was birthed from a SuperMom. And I have calculated statistics to back me up! In just my lifetime, my mom has packed 15,360 lunches, made at least 3,120 grocery trips, run approximately 5,200 loads of laundry, and made 21,900 meals - not to mention all of the driving to and from school, the amount of hours spent waiting at doctor's offices, and the dozens of her world-famous chocolate-chip cookies! If that doesn't deserve a SuperMom status, I don't know what does.

Mom, thank you for your patience and compassion that exceeds any person I know. I am beyond blessed to be trained, loved, disciplined, mentored, and cared for by YOU. I hope someday to be half the mom that you have been to me my entire life. Know that you are deeply loved [oh, and would you tell Emma for me too? ;)].

Friday Favorite - Mother's Day Set 

In honor of this coming mother's day, my Friday Favorites consist of some of the things that remind me most of my mom. She is incredible and I am proud to have such a beautiful, creative, innovative, and godly woman to call my mother. 

Paris

My mom has ALWAYS wanted to go to Paris. We have been talking about it for years! These adorable coasters from MeadowTea would be the perfect touch to our Paris dream collection that reminds us that we WILL go there one day. :)

Flowers
Every once in a while my mom will comment on a flower she sees, and even though she says the same thing every time, I never stop her, because it makes me smile. She says, "God didn't have to create flowers, but he did! And we get to enjoy their beauty. He didn't have to make them smell good. They could have no smell at all! But he created some to smell beautiful so we could enjoy their fragrance." This aqua and pink rose ring presents the perfect element of grace and charm - and at such a great price!!
